2010 Compensation Plan Details
Each column of the Compensation Plan is briefly described in this document. See Employee Handbook for further details
Qualified Accounts
To be considered a "Qualified Account":
- The customer must have the alarm completely installed in the home.
- The contract must be complete, accurate, and signed by the appropriate parties.
- The customer must own the premises where the alarm is installed.
- The customer must have an acceptable form of first month's payment.
- The customer must have a credit score of 625 or above.
- The customer must pass quality assurance calls.
- The customer must be current and in good standing through January 31, 2011
- There are no other alarm monitoring contracts presently in force at the customer's residence.
Summer Commission
- First year reps receive a $250 per install commission advance during the summer.
- Experienced reps receive a $275 per install commission advance during the summer
Backend Sales Commission
- The Backend Sales Commission will be paid according to the level of Qualified Accounts as shown in the 2010 Summer Compensation Plan.
- The Backend Sales Commission is part of the "End-of-Year Bonus".
Training Bonus - For First Year Reps Only
The training bonus is earned as follows:
- $200 upon the completion of all paperwork
- $300 for participation on the doors in at least 3 sales ($100 per sale)
Rent Bonus
All reps may receive free rent for any given month by attaining the following minimum number of installs in that month:
- May - 5 Installs
- June - 8 Installs
- July - 8 Installs
- August - 8 Installs
Performance Prizes (first year reps only)
There are two types of performance prizes:
- Cash Bonuses: Cash bonuses will be paid during the normal payroll cycles during the summer.
- Prizes: These prizes will be presented at the end-of-year banquet. They will be high-quality items with the following estimated values:
-Digital Camera......$300
-Cruise for Two......$2,600
-Laptop......$1,200
-Bose Surround Sound......$2,000
-Wave Runner or Snow Mobile......$5,000
-Harley Sportster......$7,000
-Jeep Wrangler w/ a few options......$19,000
- All reps can qualify for the Cruise for two at 75 Qualified Accounts.
- A rep may cash out of any prize (excluding the Cruise) for 75% of the actual cash value.
End-of-Year Payroll
- The End-of-Year payroll consists of the Backend Sales Commission, Rent Bonus, and Performance Prizes (if applicable).
- To be eligible the employee must work the entire period of time to which he or she has committed.
Residual Payments
- First year reps who fulfill the terms of their Employment Agreement and achieve and maintain a minimum of 50 Qualified Accounts by September 10, 2010 will receive a monthly residual payment of $1.50 per active, Qualified Account beginning November 10, 2010.
- Experienced reps who fulfill the terms of their Employment Agreement and achieve and maintain a minimum of 50 Qualified Accounts, will receive a monthly residual payment of $2.00 per active, Qualified Account beginning November 10, 2010.
- Reps will continue to receive this residual payment each month for each Qualified Account that remains current in their payments.
- Reps will continue to receive a residual payment per the terms of the Residual Commission Agreement.
